The FSB announced the detention of one of the organizers of the St. Petersburg terrorist attack.

In the Odintsovo district of the Moscow Region, a native of the Central Asian region Azimov Abror Akhranovich born in 1990 was detained, according to the Center for Public Relations of the FSB.

According to investigators, Azimov trained the alleged suicide bomber Akbardzhon Galilov. The detainee was transferred to the TFR.

The FSB published a video of the detention of Azimov. He was seized next to the railway tracks, and a charged combat gun and a mobile phone were seized during the detention. When asked by the FSB officer, whether he guesses about the reason for his detention, Azimov replies: "Yes."
