In the story of Vera Vasilievna Konishcheva, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a group I disabled person, Omsk officials crossed the line - not only good and evil, but even life and death.
Recall that on June 16, at the age of 91, Vera Vasilyevna, who had lived in a barn without gas, heating and water for many years, committed suicide, having lost hope of getting a normal home. And on the 25th, 9 days later, a letter from the regional Ministry of Labor and Social Development arrived at the home address where Konishcheva lived. This is a response to her appeal to the head of state. The letter is dated June 18 - on that day, fellow villagers saw off Vera Vasilyevna on her last journey.
Since none of the representatives of the authorities were present at the funeral, it can be assumed that they did not know about her death either in a dream or in the spirit. But on the envelope the date of sending is June 22: then almost the whole country already knew about the death of the veteran. It turns out that one of two things: either the answer of the ministry was obviously sent to another world, or the news of the death of V.V. Konishcheva reached the department very late.
The content of the response of the regional official is not new. “In the Muromtsevsky district, the accounting norm for housing is 15 sq. m per person. Due to the fact that you are provided with a total living area of 29 sq. m, registering you as in need of housing in accordance with the law, unfortunately, is not possible.
In addition to the refusal, the letter contains a reminder of the beneficence provided to the veteran by the regional authorities 3 years ago: “In 2007, work was carried out to repair the living quarters in the amount of 12 thousand rubles. For the specified amount, the foundation was strengthened by grouting and the previously painted windows were oil-painted.”
On the same day, June 25, a letter was received from the same minister to the deputy of the district council, Alexander Rakhno, who sent Vera Vasilievna's documents to the presidential administration. The text is approximately the same as in the letter addressed to her, only the ending is more “encouraging”: “At the moment, taking into account the age and living conditions of V.V. Konishcheva, the issue of providing her with housing from the Special Housing Fund of the Omsk Region may be considered. Posted June 22nd.
The “question” had long since been resolved.
