Serial killers were arrested in the suburbs

Crime police officers detained two people suspected of committing a series of murders. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The murders were committed in the Zaraysky district of the Moscow region from June 10 to July 24 this year.

According to the press service, on Monday, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Boris Gryzlov, heard a report on the course of disclosure of these crimes.

The criminals attacked lonely passers -by - residents of Zaraysk and nearby settlements. All murders were committed using cold weapons, the press service explained.

After an analysis of the method of committing crimes and places of detection of bodies, a version of the seriality of murders was put forward.

By order of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the disclosure of crimes, they created an operational group that managed to detain two previously convicted, unemployed residents of Zaraysk born in 1977 and 1975 .. In addition, the operatives managed to find in the forest the detained car, in which there were two knives with traces of blood.

The suspects admitted to the commission of eight intentional murders in order to seize the property of the victims. The suspect is currently charged, and they are detained.

The work continues to establish the involvement of the crimes arrested in other serious crimes committed in the Moscow region and adjacent regions, the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
