But, for example, the first deputy head of the Committee on International Affairs of the Council of the Federation of Russia, once the FSB General Vladimir Dzhabarov, still does not exclude the possibility of aggravating the situation, he said in an interview with the "parliamentary newspaper" that there is supposedly "information about the preparation of the color revolution in Moldova", they say, "reported this by the SVR." “The victory of the pro -European candidate in the second round of the elections of the President of Moldova can lead to an internal conflict that will put the country on the brink of collapse,” Dzhabarov said.
Perhaps the senator thickens the colors, giving out the surprise of the Russian authorities from the results of the first round of elections. And they are really curious.
Igor Dodon scored 32.61% of the vote, 439,866 Moldovan citizens voted for him. 487,635 voters voted for Maya Sandu, this is 36.16%.

In previous elections, in 2016, there was also a second round with the same participants. But then in the first round Dodon scored 47.98%, and Sandu - 38.71%. It turns out that over four years, the share of Dodon's supporters decreased by a third. And although Sandu's supporters also decreased, but not so critical.
It should be noted that Dodon and Sandu are supporters of diametrically opposite vectors of Moldova's development. If the current president stands for closer ties with Russia, then Sandu - for integration with the European Union. And, apparently, it is no coincidence that out of 149 thousand voters who voted abroad, 104.4 thousand (70%) cast voted behind Sandu, and only 5400 (3.65%) for Dodon.
Dodon could not mobilize his supporters even in Russia. Although for more than 300 thousand citizens of Moldova living and working in Russia, 17 polling stations were opened, only 5603 voters used the right to vote. This is less than even in the USA (5755), Romania (12 912), Great Britain (16,847). Not to mention Italy, where about 130 thousand citizens of Moldova lives and works, 46,442 of whom used the right of vote.
Former Moldova Ambassador to the Council of Europe and the UN Alexei Tulbur in an interview with “Novy” explained a sharp leap of electoral activity of Moldavians living outside the country, an increase in the intellectual level of their foreign compatriots:
-They live and work in such an environment that they began to understand: something also depends on them. They self -organized and went to the polls, they had to defend many hours of queues, and they voted. And they voted precisely for Sandu.

In Russia, there was no mobilization again due to the "habitat":
-In Russia, people do not believe that something depends on them in the elections. The disbelief of the Russians could not but be transmitted by Moldovan citizens who live and work in Russia. That's why they ignored the elections, ”explained Alexei Tulbur.
It is amazing that in Russia Igor Dodon even lost to Renato Usatoy, the mayor of the second most important Moldovan city of Baltsev, the leader of the “Our Party”.
And this despite the fact that the mustachioed in Russia was arrested in absentia, and in April 2020 he was put on the wanted list, accusing more than 500 billion rubles of illegally withdrawing from Russia. Although it was the mustachioed who was almost the first Moldavian politician who publicly spoke about the Moldavian landromat and charged with laundering Russian corruption billions against a number of Moldovan businessmen and politicians.
According to preliminary data, Renato's mustachioed in the presidential race became the third, gaining 17 percent of the vote. And for observers in Moldova, it is obvious that the fate of voting in the second round will decide the votes of 227,938 voters, who voted for him in the first round.
The deputy of the republican parliament, political scientist Bogdan Tsyrdy has no doubt that Renato’s voters will vote for Igor Dodon on November 15, because he considers both left -goss and pro -Russian politicians - they say that the mustachioed scored votes where he also gained Dodon: in the “red zone” - as he called the regions of the country, where the residents are dominated sympathizing with the pro -Russian course of Moldova.

“Renato’s voters are unlikely to vote for Maya Sandu, for whom May 9 is not a Victory Day, but the day of defeat,” Tsyrda “New” said. The political scientist blame Sandu is that “she was in four oligarchic alliances and four governments”:
- It was in these years that Moldova lost the only international airport, he was sent to the concession of the oligarchs, and the landromat worked through Moldova. A billion dollars were stolen from the banking system.
“But it’s not Sandu,” I objected.
-She was the Minister of Education, she voted for these decisions, she did not even conduct a press conference, was not indignant at corruption schemes. Most importantly, Sandu was a consultant to the World Bank, she is a Harvard graduate. This is you and I may not understand financial fraud, and she sorted out and had to have some position. But she was silent.
There are also many complaints to the current President of Moldova Igor Dodon. And it is not only about business interests of the Family of the Head of State. The media reasonably reported that the brother of the President of Moldova Alexander Dodon, the business partner of Igor Chaika, the son of a former General Prosecutor General of Russia, with whom he is a co -founder of the industrial Ecological Operator, who is engaged in the collection and processing of waste, and the construction company Archpley Development.
The same Renato mustache says for several years that Igor Dodon was waiting for a prison camera. True, the mayor of the city does not lead any specific examples of crimes for which the current president of Moldova can become a defendant in a criminal case.
Yesterday it became known that on November 15, Renato's mustache does not intend to support either Sandu or Dodon. However, by evening, Sandu called him, and they agreed on a personal meeting.
PS , according to the Kishinevsky weekly Ziarul de Garda, after the meeting of the mustachioed and Sandu, he stated at a press conference: “We talked about those issues that primarily excite all citizens of the Republic of Moldova. We are talking about early parliamentary elections. This is what all the people I met to do to do ... A few days later, PDS lawyers (Party Sandu. - Ed. ) They will present me a written plan. We are talking about the mechanisms of the dissolution of the parliament. ”

On the day of voting, our special corner Irek Murtazin was supposed to be on a business trip in Moldova. But on October 31, at Domodedovo Airport, he was refused to register on board Air Moldova aircraft. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry has already responded to the incident, extending the message that Novaya Gazeta journalist was issued an accelerated manner: “He requested it on October 27, and on October 30 it was already issued,” said the Foreign Ministry head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Daniel Voda. According to him, usually the process of issuing accreditation can take a month. Voda also said that on the eve of the presidential election, more than 60 accreditation was issued to reporters from eight countries and no one had problems with the entrance.
Daniel Voda also emphasized that the incident with the Novaya Gazeta journalist did not occur in Moldova, but at the Russian airport Domodedovo, so the Moldovan Foreign Ministry “cannot comment on the actions of local authorities”.
