They also want to call Russophobes people who compare Nazism and Sovietism. And what, is there nothing to compare?! It seems to me that there are grounds for comparative analysis. Both regimes are criminal. Each in his own way. So to speak, national and social specifics. But people who were tortured in the Gestapo or NKVD cameras were painful and terrible, regardless of the differences between the Third Reich and the Third International.

Nazism and Sovietism are various pseudonyms of evil, which dominated in the middle of the twentieth century in the center of Europe and in the endless spaces of Eurasia. Do we have the right to forget this? Or, hiding behind the great - both in military and moral terms - the victory of the forty -fifth year, frivolously and condescendingly turn a blind eye to the Palace and fear that reigned in the USSR?

In Russia again: grief from the mind. Again, the key concept of the Motherland is replaced by the concept of power (V. Nabokov). And if the Bolsheviks affirmed their monopoly on the truth, then today's “historical truth”. In the Brezhnev times, people who criticized Soviet power qualified as mentally ill (unless a normal, healthy person may not like Soviet?!) And raped into crazy houses. In the present free -thinking citizens (not to historians, only to everyone) are threatened with criminal punishment. Once, more than five hundred years ago, Joseph Volotsky, one of the main figures of the Russian Orthodox Church, said: "There is an opinion." His spiritual heirs (in uniform and without, harsh men and sleek bargained ladies) consider free - historical and any other - an opinion that does not correspond to the “truth” they constructed.

They determine the meaning, content and application of laws, the activities of legislative and executive branch ... and are ensured by justice ”(Article 18).

Thus, citizens, bosses, rights and freedom of humanity determine the meaning and application of laws. Including about "historical truth." But not vice versa.
