Aeroflot management has decided to apply tougher measures to violators of public order
“First, the flight attendants and the crew will work with the bully,” says Irina Tannenberg, head of the press service of Aeroflot. - If he does not succumb to persuasion, the captain of the ship has the right to decide on an intermediate landing. (We used to have to tie offenders to a chair with duct tape.)
So, last Thursday, due to the hooligan behavior of passenger Ruchkin, the IL-86 aircraft of the Aeroflot airline, which was heading on a charter flight from Shanghai to Moscow, landed in Novosibirsk.
Drunk Ruchkin insulted foreigners and domestic flight personnel. It seemed to him that verbal "attacks" were not enough - and he rushed with his fists at the citizens of China. Even his friends could not comfort him. In Novosibirsk, the violator was immediately sent to a sobering-up station.
“Most often, the offender flies to their destination, even if they have to be tied up,” says Irina Tannenberg. - On October 7, 2002, Aeroflot had to deport to Moscow two Russian football fans who were flying via Milan to the CSKA-Parma match. The fans drank alcohol on board and insulted others, so the crew decided to tie up the passengers and still fly to Milan.
