The 29th World Winter Universiade officially opened in Krasnoyarsk

The 29th World Winter Universiade completes the cycle of grandiose sporting events, which Russia received the right to hold before the beginning of 2014.

The grandiose sports forums were designed for one, and the country's policy, alas, was completely different. And it became somehow tight with money.

But the last parade had to be carried out in one way or another, the car was launched back in January 2014, and all these five years Krasnoyarsk mastered 50 billion federal and 30 billion of its regional rubles with varying success. The Universiade was declared "economical and lean." 13 infrastructure objects and 21 sports facility, of course, flew into a pretty penny, but the fact that “you are not so Sochi are here” became clearly enough. In Sochi, in the name of games, nature and climate won, not sparing money, and in the environmentally dysfunctional (softly said) Krasnoyarsk somehow adapted to the harsh realities, trying as much as possible and in the usual Russian way to enjoy the space of future games.

What was happening in the city and the surroundings in recent years and especially months and days have generated many unpleasant comments, although the authorities tried by all means to promote the loyalty program. There was something to laugh and cry from: from the chopped Christmas trees to the pipes to the issuance of ecologically pure free fuel in the amount of 15 bags of 20 kg, from the establishment of almost a 50-meter worship of the cross to the shelter of the melted snow with a synthetic winterizer.

Somewhere they filled up, somewhere tinted, something was closed with banners and fences-but such an emerant is traditional, emerald after painting grass before a general visit-not a myth for a long time, and not only for the army, the Krasnoyarsk No-Huu exception and ecological briquettes. The fact that the conifers were planted at the same time (though nothing that in winter?), And the synthetic winterizer was put to shelter the previous landings and the desire to somehow reduce the amount of dirt, no longer changed.

The phrase “Each visitor can visit virtual reality” designed to attract citizens and guests to the Universiade Park will also fit for the whole of Krasnoyarsk.

But this did not prevent a tall guest from receiving a tall guest (Vladimir Putin was not in Krasnoyarsk for two years), to be proud of, with a balalaika and an accordion to meet a World Student Festival, first accepted by Russia in winter, albeit not calendar, and even with a thaw. There are people in the Yenisei Siberia, and there are many who are mostly satisfied with the happiness that had fallen on the city, well, forward, to medals and achievements for the glory of Russian sport!

There will be a lot of medals, Russia has a champion, the delegation is the largest - 296 people. 11 sports, including two new ones and for Krasnoyarsk is not at all exotic: hockey with the ball and sports orientation. 76 sets of awards, 59 countries (though some are represented by only one athlete), almost three thousand direct participants, so some records have already been set.

Before the opening ceremony on the Platinum Arena, the Channel Channel Channel Started, the patriotic pathos reached the desired intensity in the evening, the show was prepared for two years: it was necessary to amaze the world, as was supposed to the last parade.
