After 10 days, the fourth of those who went on Fontannaya Square in Rostov at a picket #Zanavalny was arrested on October 7. This was reported by the Rostov headquarters of the opposition.
The first to arrest the coordinator of the headquarters Anastasia Denek. Employees of the ED center detained her at home. The 19-year-old girl was twisted and delivered by force to the police department in the evening of October 5. “They kept it first in the police department, did not let the lawyer not allow her to call to her, and even tried to secretly deliver him to court,” says Timofey Martynenko, spokeswoman for Navalny’s headquarters in Rostov. “But then she was arrested for 5 days.”
Anastasia was charged under Art. 20.2 h. 8 of the Administrative Code - “Repeated part in the unauthorized meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picket”.
At the headquarters of Navalny, they insist: on October 7, the action did not violate any law.
“The city hall refused to coordinate the picket and did not offer a single alternative site, grossly violating federal legislation and spit on the constitutional right of citizens to gather peacefully,” says Timofei Martynenko.
The headquarters say that a day before the event, some police officers began to openly threaten them. But, despite the threats, by 15.00 several hundred people gathered on Fountain Square. The action took place without excesses. But, according to eyewitnesses, people in civilian clothes and police, who continued to openly threaten, scurried about the picket participants.

“A man in civilian approached the mother of one of the volunteers, introduced himself as a district inspector from the 7th ATS. The woman asked what threatens the picket participants. The police response: “First, a preventive conversation, then the court, and then we will not get stirring, we heard about Nemtsov?” - says the activist of the headquarters Leonid Sankin, who was also arrested on October 16 for three days under the same article (see above).

Another activist of the headquarters, a 20-year-old student of the South Russian University Vadim Kobzev, was detained on October 13. He was called a colleague in the headquarters, to whom the police and employees of the E -E Center came to the institute with a request to sign a protocol on an administrative offense. She also took part in the action. Vadim could not help his colleague: he was twisted right in the lobby of the institute, pushed into the car and drove to the police department No. 7.
“I was sure that I did not violate the law and did nothing bad, so I behaved calmly,” Vadim Kobzev said Novaya Gazeta. - There was one person - unfortunately, I did not recognize his last name and title, so he told me: “What are you smiling? Are you abnormal? So maybe take you to a psychiatric hospital? "
And I know, there was already a case - a civilian activist was taken away from there for a forced examination in Kovalevka ( the area where the neuropsychiatric dispensary is located. - E. R. ). I immediately referred to the 51st article of the Constitution and said that I would not give them any testimony. Then they brought two large folders from the neighboring office - it turned out that these are materials collected against me. There were statements of some people who claimed that I was the organizer of the action, although I was responsible for safety at the picket. I asked people not to shout any slogans, not to make noise, etc. But in this “case” I saw statements that it was thanks to me that the action interfered with the passage of citizens, ambulance. ”
From the police department of Vadim Kobzev, he was promptly taken to a court, which, despite the arguments of the lawyers about the absence of the composition of the offenses, issued him four days of administrative arrest.
Together with Vadim on Friday, the 13th was detained by Viktor Arabajiev-he was awarded 10 thousand a fine, and Olga Yatskova-she was still waiting for the court. The activist of the Navalny team, pensioner Boris Papoyan, is also waiting for the court: the police have already come to his house and drew up a protocol. They also came to another elderly activist - Lidia Olshanskaya, but did not find at home. All of them are suspected of violating Art. 20.2 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
And in the evening of October 17, the police came home to Alexander Degtyarev. A disabled pensioner lives in Aksai, but on October 7 he was on Fontannaya Square with his dog. The police delivered him to the police department No. 7, where an insulin-dependent 66-year-old man became ill and he was taken to an ambulance. Employees of the EE center brought the agenda to the court to Degtyarev already to the ward. On the morning of October 18, the proletarian court of Rostov-on-Don awarded him 150 thousand rubles of a fine, accusing him of participating in the illegal, from the point of view of the authorities, a rally.
