On July 22, a city swim on “rubber women” took place for the first time at the reservoir of the Novosibirsk Hydroelectric Power Station.

On Sunday, July 22, in Novosibirsk, on the beach "Boomerang" (reservoir of the Novosibirsk hydroelectric power station) for the first time took place a city race on the rubber women Bubble Baba Challenge. Fifty thrill-seekers saddled their rubber girlfriends and challenged the water element. At the beginning of the event, it rained a little, then a strong wave rose on the reservoir, but nothing stopped the participants.

To win, it was necessary to overcome the distance from the start line to the inflatable buoy in the form of a man's dignity and back faster than others. Each participant had to inflate their own watercraft by their own efforts, and for complete confidence, those who wished to put on life jackets. As a result of two qualifying rounds, three winners each reached the final. The main condition was not to lose your rubber girlfriend during the swim.

The competition was evaluated by a competent jury, consisting of real girlfriends and wives of the participants. The organizers have prepared prizes for the winners of the Bubble Baba Challenge Nsk - a digital camera for the first place and mp3 players for the second and third places, as well as gift certificates for the purchase of travel packages at a discount.

The past Bubble Baba Challenge Nsk became the first in Novosibirsk. The idea to use such a banal object as an inflatable rubber woman for a swim was born in St. Petersburg. The history of the competition begins on the Losevsky threshold (Vuoksa) on August 24, 2003. Since then, they have been held annually with the constant interest of the media and citizens.
