The ban on the "Russian march" is a predictable decision. Firstly, for the reason that even against the backdrop of racist policies of the authorities of different levels, the event with a distinct Nazi soul is not too aesthetic. Secondly, the political leadership does not intend to lose its monopoly on the ideology of nationalism popular in broad masses. This is a convenient manipulation tool for public opinion and electoral moods. And therefore, a competitor, who, against the background of the growth of xenophobia, is quite able to grow into a serious, electorally attractive political force, should be slightly “extinguished”.
The ban on the march of power is also beneficial from the point of view that more scrupulous voters who do not divide the fashion into Russian nationalism will receive a signal that the great authorities still fight fascism and therefore not as hopeless as it might seem at the first superficial look. Thus, the task of dual -purpose - the preservation of the face and monopoly on the value of nationalism - is decided by a simple ban on holding a large -scale Nazi show.
However, the official abolition of the march does not mean that the authorities won the party from its "lower" competitors in the nationalist field. The game is not finished yet. She is just beginning. Moreover, having lost or won at a particular stage of the political struggle, the same Rogozin, returning to big politics, or the rising star Belov -Potkin, can play "long" - to extinguish the nationalist wave, which was bloated by the power itself, and even after such a convincing draw of the "Georgian Party", it will still not be possible. Nationalism, isolationism, migrantophobia, political Orthodoxy are not just popular now - they are included in fashion, and therefore are common not only among orpers, but in educated and adapted classes.
The upper volta with a gas pipe did not have other instruments of political mobilization, except nationalism. And if the problem has already begun with the pipe - the gas domestic consumers are not enough, because it is all, without a trace, they drive him abroad, and the extraction does not keep up with the export appetites of the "energy aristocracy", then Russia can fall into the trap of nationalism in the very near future - shortly before the elections or during them.
The pipe exists in order to "swim" from the poor population from the export of export (with the simultaneous growth of the revenues of the richest layers - hence the growth of the gini coefficient, which records the differentiation of the incomes of the poorest and the richest). Nationalism exists in order not to economically, but politically to calm the poor population dissatisfied with life, which begins to see as a source of all troubles not those who formulate an economic policy, preserving backwardness, but migrants, visitors, “foreigners”.
But a policy based on the export of energy raw materials and the sewage of discontent to Xenophobic sentiments cannot be long -term. Either the pipe should break through (in a metaphorical sense, of course), or Xenophobic sentiments will get out of the control of the highest authorities and will heal their life, turning against this very authorities. So, the risks laid down as a mine of a slow action in the current political line are unusually high.
However, the question arises - and who will share these risks, who will carry their burden? Of course, not an elite. Not power. Of course, the population of the country. The fact is that the representatives of the isolationist Russian state elite and the winding state bourgeoisie are resolutely insured in case of the political victory of the Nazis - they have a roof over their heads in the literal and figurative sense in the form of a prepared evacuation for the “probable enemy”, to the quarters of Kensington, Belgravia and other cities of London.
But a simple Russian citizen who is accustomed to living in Russia, his loving country and therefore does not share nationalist "values", simply to take his feet from the fascist threat. All political risks associated with fascism are redistributed, like national income, unevenly and by no means in favor of an ordinary sane layman. It is he who bears the burden of the consequences of the irresponsible national and migration policy of the authorities.
"Energy aristocracy", no matter how pathos it sounds, leads the country to economic and political dead ends. And this very "aristocracy", in words patriotic to nationalism and nationalist to isolationism, pursues a policy that completely contradicts the national interests of Russia. Once again, as was said in the classic movie, someone confused "his wool with the state." And as a result, ordinary, innocent inhabitants will suffer, who will have only two exits - to join the pogrom, which will turn into continuation of politics by other means, or become its victims.
