Two years ago, on July 14, 2016, a truck driven by Tunisian-born ISIS terrorist Mohamed Lauej-Boulel drove over a crowd on the promenade in Nice. When, after driving two kilometers, the truck stopped, the terrorist opened fire with a pistol and was killed by return fire from the police and special forces.
As a result of the attack, 86 people were killed and 308 injured. Among the dead were two Russians, among the wounded - five. Three people were detained on charges that they were accomplices of the terrorist.
