Structures close to the St. Petersburg oligarch Evgeny Prigozhin and his Concord Management and Consulting company became a subcontractor for the construction of a court of law in St. Petersburg for 35.735 billion rubles, Kommersant reports

Now Prigozhin’s structures are conducting commercial tenders and requests for proposals among large construction companies to attract them to the construction of individual projects without entering an advance payment. The contract concluded in November 2016 provides for the construction in the center of St. Petersburg on the Neva embankment of the buildings of the Supreme Court and the Judicial Department, a residential complex for judges for 600 apartments and theater Boris Eifman. The advance payment is 10.72 billion rubles or 10 percent of its amount. 1.4 billion of this amount was spent in 2016 and 2017 on the preparation of the construction site. It was originally planned to issue the rest of the builders this year, but from the new additional agreement to the contract it follows that in 2018 the work was funded only by 107.2 billion rubles, and the remaining 9.2 billion contractors will be able to get only at the stage of completion of work in 2021.

According to the unified information system of public procurement, for three years of construction, work has so far been completed by less than 10 percent, 2.949 billion rubles have actually spent on them. The judicial quarter itself is not yet built: according to the federal targeted investment program, as a state, on December 1, there was a digging foundation of foundation foundations for a residential complex and a parking lot for judges and the arrangement of bored piles. At the same time, the foundations for the main objects - buildings of the Armed Forces, the judicial department and the theater - are not mentioned in FAIP. Now the completion of the work is scheduled for December 31, 2021.
