The Federal Anti -Personomous Service revealed the monopoly conspiracy of the Ministry of Health with the R -Farm company, the largest supplier of drugs in Russia, Vedomosti reports with reference to the head of the FAS department for the fight against cartels Andrei Tenishev.
Reportedly, in 2017, the R-Farm violated the contracts for public procurement of drugs against HIV, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis and others. The total amount of disrupted transactions amounted to 8.2 billion rubles.
For the violations, the Ministry of Health was obliged to introduce the R -Farm to the register of unscrupulous suppliers - then the company could not participate in public procurement over the next two years. However, the department did not do this.
The Ministry of Health stated that the information in the material "Vedomosti" is not true. The department had no reason to include R-Farm in the register of unscrupulous suppliers, and the verification of the antimonopoly service was carried out "with gross procedural disorders," the ministry claims. In the Ministry of Health, they promised to complain about the FAS in the Prosecutor General.
The R-Farm did not receive any preferences from the Ministry of Health with the participation in public procurement, certified in the company.
The pharmaceutical company is the largest manufacturer of drugs in Russia. In 2017, according to IQVIA Russia and the CIS, 8.3 percent of all public procurement came to it.
