The head of the Ministry of Justice, Alexander Konovalov, proposed to include the norm in the Family Code, obliging his parents to pay adult working children - full -time students alimony. It is reported by RBC.
Konovalov also announced the need to record the minimum amount of such payments in the code.
Whether the proposed norm should apply to the parents of students who work simultaneously with their studies, the official did not specify.
The current edition of the Family Code obliges parents to keep children until the age of 18 reaches.
Such an idea is not expressed for the first time. In 2015, the State Duma deputy from United Russia Mamed Abasov spoke with a similar initiative. He suggested that parents maintain children-studies aged 18 to 24 years. Then the initiative was not supported.
