From the hands of the secretary of the Electoral Commission of the Republic of Komi Ekaterina Baranova, a fresh, crippled version of the coloring book "A hare, a squirrel and a magpie visiting Bi Kin" fell into the hands of a Novaya Gazeta correspondent.
As a subtitle, the authors of the book slapped a rhetorical question: "Why do we need elections?". And the truth is: why?
The book is intended for voters from older groups of preschool institutions and children of the youngest school age (grades 1-2).
Ekaterina Baranova says that “members of the election committee have already held events and business games designed to improve the legal and political culture of schoolchildren.” “The lessons went very well, the guys were happy to join the business game.” Ekaterina Danilovna especially noted that the turnout of future voters to the lessons was unusually high.
Komi borrowed the idea of the book from his Rostov colleagues, who in 2001 published The Adventures of an Alien in Russia. True, the Komi authors (in any case, we can talk about this until the version was put on the printing press of the Kirov printing house) showed themselves to be more courageous gentlemen. If the Rostov alien complained about the abstract Supreme Ruler, who “once decided that all toys should belong only to him,” then the Komi animals openly spread rot on the current ruling party (or even a symbol? Remember, the famous actress noted the “beautiful swaying gait” of the symbol?) . “All the animals and birds hid in the forest thicket, when the Bear was in charge in the taiga - he ruined an anthill or ate raspberries. It became difficult for animals and birds to live in the forest. Everyone is tired of the Bear." However, this is where the dissident tricks of the commission members end. Then the animals stomp along the path knurled by the Rostov alien. The main thing that the rudimentary electorate must learn is that both the Bear and the Supreme Ruler are bad guys who in normal cities (Syktyvkar, Rostov, etc.) do not own toys and do not eat public raspberries. Raspberries are eaten somewhere far away - in the forest, on another planet. And “from Bi Kin, the forest dwellers learned that now in our country, as well as in the Komi Republic, there is democracy.”
By September, Ekaterina Baranova believes, the book will go to educational institutions of the republic. Unfortunately, the funds will not allow the Electoral Commission to print enough BKineas. But, as Ekaterina Danilovna rightly noted, “copiers are now everywhere”, and so - “if the schools like it, we will print more”. At first, the secretary even read out the estimate for the first edition of the book: “in Russian - 2 thousand rubles, translation into the Komi language - 1 thousand rubles, 14 drawings and a full-color cover - 2 thousand rubles. <...>, editorial and proofreading work - 1 thousand rubles. Total - 8 thousand rubles. Ridiculous price for legal and political consciousness. Moreover, having caught up with me at the exit of the State Council building, Ekaterina Danilovna even managed to make the necessary "adjustment" of the brain. “I was just told that the estimate would be much lower.”
I think it will be possible to remove the burning verbs about the Bear.
