The Foundation of Corruption turned to the FSB with a request to initiate a criminal case against businessman Evgeny Prigozhin, who is called "Putin's personal restaurateur." This was reported by the lawyer of the FBK Lyubov Sobol.

FBK suspects Prigozhin in conspiracy with the extraction of income on an especially large scale (part 2 of article 178 of the Criminal Code). As the FBK investigation showed, six one-day companies interconnected and Prigozhin, as a result of illegal conspiracy during tenders, received 6.4 billion rubles from the budget for the repair of objects of the Ministry of Defense. Tenders, according to the FBK, were held by the subsidiary of the Ministry of Defense of OJSC "GU Housing and Public Utilities".

In addition, several companies were simultaneously ruled by the same people. On the terms of anonymity, they told FBK employees and Fontanka.ru reporters that all firms that received orders for the repair of military units are controlled by Megaline LLC, LLC.

In January, the FBC already stated that more than 40 billion rubles from the Ministry of Defense were illegally obtained with Prigozhin to ensure the power supply of Russian military personnel, as well as energy and water supply to military towns.

On June 21, Fontanka.ru connected the attacks on bloggers with the "troll factory" and billionaire Evgeny Prigozhin , who is called personal restaurateur of Vladimir Putin. A few days later, the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov described the publication as "duck and slander."

Last week in Moscow, unknown people on a motorcycle poured feces by journalist Julia Latinin. She connected the attack with the materials about Prigozhin published in Novaya Gazeta.
