In addition, the Dagestanis retrained the charges. Initially, Sultan Akhmedkhanov, Murad Aligidzhiev, Magomed Ubaidulaev and Biimurat Ibragimov were accused of applying a dangerous violence for the police (part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code) - they threatened up to ten years in the colony.
Now they are charged with an article on intentionally causing easy harm to health from hooligan motives (paragraph “a” of part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code), which is supposed to be punished up to two years in prison.
According to investigators, four Dagestanis are involved in the beating of the lieutenant of the police S. Sarukhanov. The security forces attended actions against mobilization in Makhachkala on September 26, he was dressed in civilian clothes.
According to the accused, during the rally they heard the cries of the girl who told about the theft of her phone. In theft, they suspected Sarukhonov and, as follows from the case file, inflicted “multiple strokes with arms and legs in various parts of the body”.
The prosecution was softened due to the fact that Akhmedkhanov, Aligadzhiev, Ubaidulaev and Ibragimov did not know that they were a security forces. At the same time, the investigation initially reported that Sarukhanov introduced himself as a police officer and showed them his certificate.

After the announcement of mobilization on September 21, protests were held throughout Russia, rallies also took place in Dagestan.
