On May 6, a rally of representatives of the local Cossacks was dispersed in Crimea. This was reported by the publication "Arguments of the Week of Crimea". Earlier, on April 29, the organizers of the rally in defense of the private Crimean Cossack Cadet Corps, which are trying to close, refused to agree on the event under the pretext that, opposite the monument to Saint Luke, where they were going to hold it, some other should be held. However, the representatives of the Cossacks came to the place and, having discovered that no event was taking place there, decided to hold their rally. The police warned the organizer that they would draw up a protocol on an administrative offense on him, and then, when the participants refused to disperse, detained the woman, the publication reports. The participants began to be indignant, after which at least two more people were detained, and four police officers twisted one of them and handcuffed him.
