The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation granted the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice on the ban on "Jehovah's Witnesses"*. The Supreme Court recognized the organization, the administrative center of which since 1878 has been in the United States, extremist and banned its activities in Russia. Jehovists are supporters of the unconventional direction in Protestantism, in Russia they are attributed to the sect. “Jehovah's Witnesses” consider any state to be Satanic and prohibit participating in its activities, including engaged in politics or serve in the army. Previously, Jehovah's Witnesses were banned in Nazi Germany, in Francist Spain and the Stalinist USSR.
The editor -in -chief of the newspaper "Evening Magadan" Andrei Grishin was forced to write an application for care. The reason is the post on Facebook, in which Grishin critically spoke about the sensational speech of the deputy representative of the Russian Federation to the UN of Vladimir Safronkov, the Human Rights Portal “OTD-Info” reports. According to Grishin, on his personal page on Facebook, he “advised our Ministry of Foreign Affairs to acquire a new shape - tracksuits and sharp -nosed shoes”, and to Safronkov - to use yard receptions. Publicly, both the Kremlin and the Foreign Ministry supported Safronkov, not publicly - they say that Safronkov "broke, but this is understandable." The city hall of Magadan, however, did not accept the explanations of the chief credit and, as the founder, the newspaper was proposed to resign.
The Moscow City Hall denied the movement “Open Russia” in the right to hold the “Tired” action on April 29 on Slavic Square in Moscow. The metropolitan city hall believes that the holding of the action will lead to disorganization of the work of the reception room of the prize. Open Russia calls on fellow citizens in different cities of the country to bring letters addressed to President Putin, demanding that he abandon the idea to run for the next term.
In Voronezh, 7 of 12 truckers were detained - participants in the action against the Plato system. The police claim that the parking of the truck interfered with repair work. Protesters assure that all week the police, under various pretexts, tried to disperse them.
