Not about love. “Do not believe this bitch from the apartment 23” - a breakthrough in “Female” series. It seems that women are tired of making themselves from themselves that they want to be free and “score” on a reputation
See the modern Holly Golitley - the dream of the fan of "breakfast at Tiffany." This, of course, is not about fake Holly from the cinema, but about the real one, from the book. The film directed by Black Edwards is not so bad: both Audrey Hepburn coincides with the image of the novel, and the dresses there are excellent (now they are in fashion), and Rayban glasses are in the “cat eyes” - a cult thing ... but accents are shifted in the film adaptation. The writer Trumen Kapote is not the current person, but the place of action. He wrote not about the girl, but about the city. Holly is even a greater symbol of New York than the statue of freedom-it is both predatory, and insidious, and selfish, and cynical, and capricious, and kind, and romantic, and affectionate, and charismatic so that it does not matter whether it is smart and good. She is one of the options for classic female New Yorkers, the one whom thousands of girls who want to conquer this city want to be like.
The story of the real Holly has no completeness, but the more happy end. All this lave of Story, who was invented for film adaptation, the Happy end and the hero of the writer, who, of course, should be ugly, perverted, suspended as a hood, and not a tent to American handsome, as actor George Peppard, all this is an abuse of one of the best novels of the 20th century.
Only, unfortunately, many did not read, but looked, and think that the story of Holly Golitley is a search for the very only love that it is so difficult to find in our cynical world.
Do not give a damn about feelings
Guys, you were deceived. And it seems, the authors of the series “Do not believe this bitch from the apartment 23”/Don't Trust the B ... in Appartment 23 decided to correct the injustice a little, presenting the modern version of Holly. The heroine is a girl named Chloe. She meets with rich men and even Europeans (one of whom seems to be Nicolas Sarkozy), puts his best friend - the famous actor and deceives the neighbors in the apartment. There is not a word about love in the series - at least in the first season, which has just ended.

“Do not believe this bitch ...” - this is all about a young person who does not make a career, does not marry, but simply lives for his own pleasure, as she likes - without any morality, principles and other things that make life boring and orderly. And this is a big breakthrough for "female" series. Of course, “do not believe this bitch ...”-just a seat, it is difficult to compare it with the grand “prodigal California”/Californic, but still Chloe is the first heroine to give a damn about feelings.
After "Sex in the Bolshoi"/Sex on the City, this is the first bright series for women. After the “sex” was officially closed and even before two ridiculous full -length films were released along it, the same Darren Star, the genius of cable TV, tried to squeeze everything out of the topic. He wanted to film the book of Kendes Bushnell, Jungle of the Glubon Lipstick - but did not agree with the writer. The Jungle Lipstick Jungle removed Timothy Basfield, and Star launched the “cashmere mafia”/Cashmeere Mafia.
"
The heroine does not make a career, does not marry, but simply lives for pleasure. She has no goal - except that so have fun tonight to get into yellow newspapers tomorrow
"
But the “jungle” lasted two seasons without much success, the “mafia” - only one. Stories about the successful women of New York were not hooked. There was no spark of God in them. The publisher, with whom the husband does not have sex for a couple of years and who tears his hair with shame, but still cheat on him with a young fashion model-is so ordinary that you need to be not Bushnell, but with Chekhov, and not a group of directors, but a hainkee to make this image brilliant.
Therefore, the heroes of the zero again were men - Hank Mudie from Californication, Dr. House, Dr. Cal Lightman from “Deceiving Me”/Lie to Me, Rick Casl from the series Casl/Castle.
Of course, there was the series "Shuds"/Weeds about the housewife-Vdov, which the husband left only debts and loans and which had to trade herb to afford both the mansion and a private school for children. The first two seasons are very decent, but then such a mishmash began from the most vulgar sentimental novels that it became unbearable to see it.
Recently, “two ruined girls”/2 Broke Girls appeared, but this classic comedy of positions seemed to be from the 80s. The idea seems to be pretty: in one apartment there are a waitress who tears the veins at work to pay bills, and the heiress, who quarreled with a rich daddy and was left without a penny. But this is directly quite a seat - everything is deliberately, with jokes, circled in a circle and signed: “joke”, “funny”.
Without prejudice
The only sensation was the series "Svetlana"/svetlana. The series are made for the Internet by an actress, a comedian, and now also a screenwriter and director Iris Bahr. The heroine Svetlana is a former gymnast from Belarus, “wife in the catalog”, and now the mother and owner of the “St. Petersburg House of Forbidden Enjoyment” in Los Angeles. It is not clear where the Israeli, and now American actress Iris Bahr gained such an experience, but there is not a gram of falsehood in her version of the Russian prostitute. Accent, manners, psychology, style - everything is so natural that it is already funny in itself. You begin to love the heroine, not because she amuses you, but because you envy her incredible freedom. She is a prostitute, but it seems that she does not know that this must be shy or that her occupation in society is condemned.

The stunning Bahra caught the topic in time: women were tired of building themselves in the same way, they want to “score” on reputation, be free, be “whores” and enjoy it, even forbidden, even not very much. In this, Svetlana and “Suki from the apartment 23” have a common one - they live outside the standards, only their own world is important to them. And here is just the intersection with Holly Golitley, which is so self -centered that this alone distinguishes it from most people, makes it significant.
Individuality is an independent value, no less important than mind, kindness, talent. People who are able to be themselves (whoever they are) are landmarks, almost idols that can be equal when there is a feeling that the whole world is against you. This “bitch” is good, it liberates even better whiskey (sorry for blasphemy) and shifts accents from the “black” and “white” to the “gray zone” (favorite expression of Chloe), where most of what we remember for life.
