Candidate for deputy from the party "United Russia" V. Putin returned the concept of "enemy of the people" to the political lexicon. The meeting of the new organization “For Putin” in the Luzhniki sports complex, the frenzy of the young and not so loving crowd made me recall the famous film by Leni Riefenstahl “Triumph of the Will”, dedicated to the Nazi Party Congress in Nuremberg in 1934. It seemed that just a little bit more, and we would witness the solemn ceremony of consecrating the banners of the assault detachments with the party "banner of blood" ... It worked out. However, an attempt to imitate history, especially someone else's, inevitably turns into what it always turns into - a farce: there is a orchestrated triumph, but is there a will? A black turtleneck, black patent leather shoes, a suit from an expensive couturier, deliberately harsh words - all this was more like footage from the life of the head of the Sicilian clan than the father of nations. The demonstration was so deliberate, so ostentatious, that it involuntarily aroused regret: what is this man so afraid of? What are his fears? what bad dreams about the future torment him at night?
