When Sasha was born, his mother proudly talked about the height and weight of the baby and about high ratings on the Apgar scale. And the first months were all good. But when Sasha was three months old, he stopped holding the head, and at 6 months the genetic diagnosis was confirmed: spinal amyotrophy. Doctors said they could not do anything.
Sasha’s mother told herself that if Sasha is special, then she would love him even more. And they continued to live an ordinary children's life: they walked, played, ate, laughed. But after three months, Sasha was in intensive care with pneumonia. More than four years have passed since that moment. And all this time Sasha cannot breathe on his own, Ivl breathes for him. The first year and a half, Sasha was in intensive care, and his family lived a double life: every day in the morning it was necessary to go to Sasha, and after three hours - back home. And at home - Sashin is an older brother.
Charity funds helped the family buy the IVL apparatus. For three years, Sasha has been living at home with his family. Together they go for a walk in the park near the house and have dinner at the same table in the evenings. Sasha almost always smiles and loves to fuck, his mother learned to predict his desires, and the game therapist from the children's hospice “House with a lighthouse” comes up with various classes for Sasha. But the entire debugged family life depends on the serviceability of the Ivl apparatus.
Sasha lives at home and breathes with the help of Ivl for more than 15,000 hours. This is a critical mark, after which Ivl begins to make mistakes. It must be carefully checked in order to avoid the moment when the device suddenly stops working. Maintenance of the Sashin apparatus IVL costs 150,000 rubles. And this is another 15,000 hours of breathing.
