Problem:
The processing of one ton of waste paper saves 10 trees, saves 20,000 liters of water, 1000 kW of electricity and prevents the release of 1700 kg of CO2.
Every day, a huge amount of paper is thrown out of offices and houses throughout our vast country. With proper handling and some efforts from each of us, this paper can be used many times.
The project saves the tree helps to establish the collection of waste paper and organize its export to secondary processing, thereby contributing to the solution of the problem of waste and excessive resource consumption.
At the moment, in Moscow, the removal of waste organizations is carried out by a minimum weight of 500 kg, because less export is inappropriate economically. We want to create an application, thanks to which everyone will have the opportunity to take small volumes of paper waste, saving thousands of trees and saving natural resources. This will give the project a second life, because now very few can accumulate 500 kg or independently take 50-100 kg of paper to the reception points, which are not located in every district.
Now all this paper goes to landfills.
Solution mechanism:
Project participants (anyone, whether it is a private person or organization) will register their readiness to pass the waste paper on an interactive map, indicating the approximate weight and convenient export time. Based on these data, the logistics of the project will be built. The counter of the saved trees will work online. Believe me, there will be a lot of them!
