The Zamoskvoretsky District Court sentenced nationalist, member of the Coordination Council of the Opposition Konstantin Krylov to 120 hours of compulsory labor for saying at a rally “Stop feeding the Caucasus!” The statement contained signs of “inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity on the basis of nationality.” The saying in question is: “It’s time to end this strange economic model.” Krylov meant subsidies to the republics of the North Caucasus from the federal budget. Where is all the above-mentioned excitement and humiliation? Krylov, quoted by ITAR-TASS, said that he “picked” at the expert’s trial, and then they “clung on” to another of his phrases: “It would be good if the inhabitants of the Caucasus lived on their own land and worked on it with their own hands.” Krylov intends to appeal the verdict.
