Lawyers for private Andrei Sychev, crippled at the Chelyabinsk Tank School, filed a cassation appeal against the sentence being too lenient, from their point of view. Representatives of the convicted Alexander Sivyakov also appealed the verdict. They, in turn, are dissatisfied with his severity and believe that their client’s guilt has not been proven. Let us recall that on September 26, Sivyakov was sentenced to four years in a maximum security colony for “exceeding official authority, resulting in grave consequences.”
