Journalist Natalya Morar, as it turned out, is still under arrest, but under house arrest. This was reported by Ekho Moskvy with reference to the Moldovan media, to which this information, in turn, was confirmed by Morari’s husband, journalist Ilya Barabanov. Previously, the Moldovan prosecutor’s office stated that Morari had been arrested, but then it turned out that another Natalia Morari had been arrested by mistake. Barabanov asked journalists not to contact Natalya. Meanwhile, on April 15, the Prosecutor General of Moldova, Valery Gurbulya, announced that only those protest participants who were involved in the unrest would be held accountable. Natalia Morari, one of the members of the initiative group “I am an anti-communist”, which gathered about ten thousand people for a protest after the parliamentary elections, disowned those who committed riots and arson in Chisinau, calling these actions a provocation.
