The Ministry of Internal Affairs proposes to create a municipal police, writes Kommersant . According to the draft law developed by the All-Russian Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the municipal police should become a local self-government body (LSG) or a subdivision of the local administration, and policemen should become municipal employees. They will have to help the police patrol public places, inspect participants in mass events, search for missing people, transport drunks and drug addicts to hospitals, and violators to the police.
