The ban on holding a rally on the anniversary of the deportation of Crimean Tatars in Simferopol is "a fresh example of the restrictions and intimidation that Crimean Tatars now face." This was stated by the head of the diplomatic service of the European Union Federica Mogherini on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars.
