The next rise in price of used foreign cars in Russia was “waiting” for long - only six months. Despite the protests of motorists and lulling the promises of the government , the used foreign cars so popular among the people will become more expensive. From today, customs duties on the “age” foreign cars from three to seven years will be equalized (increased). Now citizens will pay 2-2.5 times more due to the fact that VAT and excise tax will be included in the fee. For individuals, prices for the most massive models will increase by an average of $ 800-900. Obviously, in this way the government expects to remove a loophole for dealers from tax legislation, increase revenues to the budget and once again submit a loosening domestic auto industry, although not everyone believes in this result.
