Materials sent to the court by mail did not reach the addressee. Therefore, today Khodorkovsky’s lawyer Yuri Schmidt again filed a complaint against the actions of the Federal Penitentiary Service, which sent his client to serve his sentence in the Chita region. Answering the question when the consideration of the complaint will begin, Schmidt said: “It will depend on the workload of the court, as well as on whether the court will combine Khodorkovsky’s complaint with a similar complaint by Lebedev.” Lawyers for Khodorkovsky and Lebedev consider merging the complaints to be appropriate.
