Lyudmila Mikhailovna Alekseeva gave me the first alarm: they might be locked up, she said. And Alekseeva's experience is such that God forbid. I have not yet learned their human rights slang and, I remember, clarified: what does “lock up” mean? Yes, that means! When, having called already closer to one in the morning, my daughter managed to say that they were taking away their mobile phones and still “locking up”, I called Nikolai Svanidze (he was aware of the matter and himself offered to call at any time, if anything ...) I decided that this, perhaps, is "if anything."
The Law of Judge Radionova
The offense of the daughter and Co. was this. Judge Radionova demanded that they leave the open courtroom where their comrade was being tried. This was done in the genre of a female whim: "Until you leave, I will not continue the meeting." Daughter and Co. tried to return the judge to the legal genre, suggesting that she declare the process closed (they had the right to be open). The requirement to comply with the law infuriated Judge Radionova to such an extent that she called the police. The four were taken not only out of the hall, but also noticeably farther (to the "monkey" in the police department), and then, from the police report, it turned out that they had used foul language at the court session.
The birth of this version was accidentally caught by a lawyer - he heard with his own ears how Judge Radionova coordinated this "obscene language" on the phone. Radionova's subscriber is not known to me, but the prosecutor's office could easily find out - well, if they suddenly wanted to. Hey, prosecutor's office, you still don't want to?
Performance with hair
... The night arrival at the Krasnopresnensky Internal Affairs Directorate of a member of the Public Chamber corrected the life of the above-mentioned Internal Affairs Directorate quite thoroughly. The cops started behaving the way they thought policemen should behave. It was reminiscent of a play from French life performed by Count Sheremetyev's fortress theater.
And just then, for the beauty of the plot, they brought two drunk guys outside: one was a drunken intellectual, but the other was a clean picture from the Soviet "Crocodile": in chains, with a hair and tattooed, in a jacket over a T-shirt, according to the season. This second one immediately began to carry the cops with a terrible address obscenity; Not even five minutes had passed before each of the ATC employees had already gone to all the letters five times. The stunned cops, swallowing, began to ask him FOR DO BROME, but the “haer” only inflamed with impunity, and the cops fell into a stupor: they could not act USUALLY in the presence of a member of the Public Chamber, but they did not know how to act according to the law.
This went on for about twenty minutes: "hayer" loudly honored the cops, and the cops only looked sideways in the direction of Svanidze with dreary eyes. Finally, somewhere inside, a certain organizational decision was ripened, and the drunkards were taken away for re-education somewhere in the bright distance, where there were no members of the Public Chamber.
The withdrawal process looked like this: the cop made a wooden theatrical gesture towards the door and said loudly: “Let's go, gentlemen!” (This is the time to notice that there was an inscription Exit above the door of the Internal Affairs Directorate. That is, the play was from English life...)
Several people left, and we remained in the waiting room of the department with two bags of warm clothes for all this youth convict artel, some food, a thermos of tea and, you will laugh, crackers; remained in the company of a brigade of illegal Belarusians, whose owner went on vacation to Italy without giving them a residence permit ...
"Don't eat it, I'll bite it"
Belarusians patiently sat on the floor along the wall - two steps away from Svanidze and me and far beyond the three hours prescribed by law. Behind glass, in a special room, my international recidivist studied the protocols of detention with her lawyer. It was the beginning of the fourth night ... At eleven in the morning they had a court appointment.
At eleven in the morning there was no court, and at twelve there was none, and at one too. The detainees were simply kept in their cells, without explaining anything to either them or their lawyers. And neither the lawyer, nor the lawyer from the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights who arrived at the Internal Affairs Directorate could move this creaky wheel. According to the article that the generous Radionova wrote to them, they could be kept locked up for three days, and the policemen had nowhere to hurry.
The lawyer left to write a complaint against Petrovka, 38, and here the detainees were told to get ready. The detainees did not want to go to court without a lawyer, but the wheel suddenly turned rapidly in the opposite direction: when the lawyer arrived from Petrovka to the court, it was already over - everyone was released on a summons!
And a few days later, at the next trial, the case was completely returned for revision to the Internal Affairs Directorate, which, translated from legal into Russian, means its actual termination: the authorities were avoiding direct disgrace by vegetable gardens ...
Why did they have to be “locked” in a cell for the night in the evening, if it turned out to be possible to release them on a subpoena the next morning? The mystery is unsolvable, if you remain within the law and in the logic of common sense. But everyone understands everything, right? The authorities showed the democratic activists who is the boss in the house: they scared them, they spoiled them to the best of their ability ... “I won’t eat it, I’ll bite it.”
The daughter and her comrades "bite", by local standards, just a little. Sergei Konstantinov was bitten more seriously, beaten, imprisoned for several days and beaten again. The head of the “Defence” Oleg Kozlovsky was simply kidnapped and put into a military unit…
All this, mind you, happened and continues to happen in Moscow, in the field of view of the Commissioner for Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation and the Public Chamber ... Do you have enough imagination to move the action - well, let's say, to Ufa? To Elista, Kemerovo, Yoshkar-Ola, not to mention Ingushetia, be remembered by nightfall? Is it all the same (protest picket, detention, overnight stay at the police station, trial), but without the newsmaker dad, Vladimir Lukin and Nikolai Svanidze?
Scary?
Me too.
