Having scanned and monitored the blue screen, Mironov came to the conclusion that there is “not a single pro-presidential channel in the country!” At this point, to use an old joke, “Soviet television completes its work.”

That is, this phrase could be used not as a quote, but as a medical diagnosis and show an act of forced mercy towards Mironov. However, I would like to understand, fir-trees, what did he mean? What is a pro-presidential channel? How many of them there must be, since Mironov not only says that there are none, but that there are “not one of them.” Two, three, ten? Or maybe everything in general?

It’s not very clear, by the way, what channels Mironov himself watches. Probably MTV, Muz-TV or 2x2. Then, at least, it is at least clear what led the chief senator to such a bleak conclusion, from his point of view.

Let's face it, it's hard to imagine a more pro-presidential, and now also pro-government, television than ours. It now maintains an amazing balance of power and information: as soon as Medvedev said something, they immediately tell us that Putin said about it. They are “always together, always close.” We were even told in the story about Zenit’s victory in the UEFA Cup that “Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Putin also watched the match.” Together, or what? At night on the couch with a beer?

Maybe Mironov wants Medvedev to be shown more than Putin. But everything is relative. Remember how during the elections the Central Election Commission reported that, according to the results of measurements, Medvedev does not even receive the most time on television and is mentioned on the main channels no more often than, say, Bogdanov (there was such a failed leader of the nation).

Having complained about the isolation of television channels from the president, Mironov immediately condemned the broadcasters. They say they are undermining our statehood and imposing an alien ideology. But I agree with this completely and completely. I even suspect that Mironov and I are talking about the same thing.

Our television is not depraved in the sense of promoting sex and “pornography,” which is what the puritans accuse it of, for whom pornography is girls in short skirts. Our television is simply obscene. This is not pornography of the body, but pornography of the spirit and brain. With these dwarfs, pedophiles, drunken stars of the past, lordly mansions of pop idols, etc. And, despite the imaginary prohibitions and fictitious restrictions, everyone watches this crap - both children and non-children - anyone, anyone. And this really undermines the foundations, turning our already not very exalted population into complete morons and mankurts.

But how random is this? How accidental is Medvedev’s fresh compliment, who called our television perhaps the best in the world, at least one of the best? Given the rampant Orthodox-patriotic hypocrisy that we have seen lately, it is strange to observe an equally obvious rampant of obscenity on the air. The thing is that bigotry directs its anger at strictly defined addresses, like some cartoons on the 2x2 channel. But they don’t touch the “big ones”. Because this is a contract.

Vowel or unspoken - I don’t know. I think it's spontaneous. However, its meaning is simple and obvious. The main channels can show at least naked butts continuously in prime time. In exchange, they are obliged to compost their brains in news, so-called “analytical” and other programs, where they constantly talk about the president and the prime minister. That's it!

And, of course, we could not do without another idea of ​​​​creating another body controlling morality on television. Moral authorities must enter there. You must enter, but where can you get them? Do we even have them? And where are they looking if they cannot find even a small photograph of the unfortunate president or half a line from his speech on any channel?
