The circus is no laughing matter

The Moscow Property Committee will raise the cost of renting the circus premises on Tsvetnoy Boulevard several times (the rent will be 16 million rubles per year). According to the artistic director of the circus, the group does not have that kind of money - the circus has long been self-sufficient. The only way out is to raise ticket prices and make performances cheaper. If the required amount cannot be raised, the circus will face the same fate as its neighbor, the Mir cinema: after the rent was raised, a restaurant and slot machine hall opened in its building.
