Election xenophobia

As the Vedomosti newspaper reported, last week Dmitry Rogozin proposed amending the law on the status of foreigners in Russia. Their essence is an actual ban for foreign citizens to engage in retail trade in food and clothing markets. Of course, these amendments, which strongly resemble the laws of Hitler’s Germany, cannot have any chance of approval in the Duma. But it is quite possible that they will bring some success in the Moscow elections.
