“If the Public Chamber stops doing stupid things, they will forget about it,” its glorious members decided and began to write a charter for journalists. This will be a document regulating what and how a journalist should write, and most importantly, what he should not write. It remains a mystery who will monitor the execution of the “sentence” and how the renegades will be punished. In order not to suffer, I propose an alternative “charter”, briefly like this: “The activities of a journalist of the Russian Federation are limited by the criminal code of the Russian Federation, personal morality and common sense.”
