The UFSB investigator in the Primorsky Territory Tumyak tried to submit opposition Dmitry Tretyakov, arrested in the case of extremism, so that he, under the influence of alcohol, gives a confession. This was reported by "human rights" postcards with reference to Sergey Valiulin, a Politzek lawyer.
The process of 32 -year -old Tretyakov - a lawyer from Spassk -Dalnoy, supporter of Alexei Navalny - has been continuing from the second half of last year in the Spassky district court of Primorye. Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism via the Internet), which provides for up to five years of the colony, was imputed to the opposition.
The reason for the persecution of Tretyakov was the repost of the note by the emigrant journalist Arkady Babchenko on anti-corruption shares held in Russia on June 12, 2017. The journalist placed his publication in a personal telegram channel the day after the shares, June 13. Tretyakov repaired this text in the open telegram group of the seaside supporters of Navalny's Operation Duck, accompanying the publication with the following comment: "I will now throw off an important text ... Babchenko was not on the spot, mostly he was absolutely right."
The case against the opposition was opened in January last year. The FSB attention was drawn to the following fragment of Babchenko’s text: “We must clearly understand that there will be cops, gas, batons, rubber bullets, titles, broken heads. This is first. And you need to resist this. To fight with the cops. Do not give up your own. Straight on the street with bonfires. Put the barricades. Burning. And not in the cells, it is pointless”.
On March 14, 2018, a search was held in Tretyakov’s apartment. The FSB seized the opposition laptop and mobile phone; Tretyakov himself was detained and taken to Vladivostok. The security forces convinced the detainee to give confessions, promising a soft measure of restraint for this. Tretyakov refused to admit guilt. On March 16, he was sent to a pre -trial detention center.
According to the "human rights" postcards ", the opposition case is the first case of persecution in Russia for publication in Telegram.
According to the lawyer Valiulin, the case file has a four -hour video made on behalf of the investigator Tumity in April last year. On that day, Tretyakov was brought to the FSB department in order to familiarize themselves with the decision on the appointment of the examination. In the office, along with the opposition, there was another investigatedly arrested - Andrei Ternopolsky, who was working with the special service. He started a conversation with the political zone, in which he tried to bring him to the recognition of intentional calls to overthrow the current government.
At the second hour of the record, the camera recorded how the security forces handed it to Ternopol two packages. There were three bottles in them, in appearance cognac. Part of the alcohol was cut along with Tretyakov. However, the political prisoner, despite the drunk, explained to the very end of the record that he did not speak and did not advocate the overthrow of the authorities and did not have the goal of calling for others.
The FSB called the episode recorded by the camera, an operational event aimed at consolidating or confirming Tretyakov’s guilt.
At the next meeting in the case, which is scheduled for February 6, the lawyer Valiulin will petition for the exclusion of video from among the evidence.
