Kolmogorov, the head of the department of mathematical logic and the theory of algorithms of the Mehmat MSU, one of the creators of the department of theoretical and applied linguistics of the philological faculty of Moscow State University.

He is known to the wide modern reader from the book “The Preface to Mathematics” and its more complete version - “Apology of Mathematics”. Wide Soviet - several brochures in the series “Popular Lectures in Mathematics” and jointly with E. B. Dumpin's book “Mathematical Conversations”. The business card of the WAU was the preface to the collection of translations “Mathematics in the modern world” (M. Mir, 1967) with his phrase “The traditional idea of ​​mathematicians changed: the place of Paganel -shaped eccentrics was occupied in this representation by young people in skiing. More and more parents want to determine their children in schools with a mathematical bias: mathematics has become a fashion profession. ”

All his life, Vladimir Andreevich carefully watched the outside world, meticulously asked even accidentally met and published a part of the rethought. Almost all the non -demanatic texts written by Uspensky are presented in the collection "Proceedings on Nematimatics."

The first edition - two -volume - was published in 2002 thanks to the heroic feat of Ekaterina Rakhilina. You can’t say otherwise, because to collect all this scattered together ... Having a little attitude to the second edition, albeit more in volume, but being a superstructure over the first, I can’t imagine how it could be overpowered, and even at that low-computer time ... and even knowing the meticulousness of the VAU, constantly observing the process.

The second edition is the Pentateuch. Vladimir Andreevich loved something like that. Book 4 “Philology” was published in 2012, book 3 “Linguistics” - in 2013, book 2 “Philosophy” - in 2014, book 5 “Memories and Observations”, prepared by the Wau, but released without it, in 2018 [ 1 ].

Now, completing the idea of ​​Vladimir Andreevich, the book 1 “Memory of those who departed was published by its 90th anniversary. The apparatus of the publication. " In addition to the texts planned by him, according to the decision of the publishers, the book includes a large block of memories of Assumption, written by his friends and colleagues. The book is already in Moscow and will soon appear in stores, and the full PDF file, as usual, will appear in the public domain six months later. So far - a table of contents, materials from the archive and the most complete list of his work [ 2 ].

The total number of pages of the Pentateuch is 3632. The number of people in the NOMA NOMENTER is 4145. All this is thanks to painstaking work during these nine years Mikhail Panov and Nikita Panunin. On the other hand, how many interesting communication with Vladimir Andreevich was, how many interesting stories were told. Be that as it may, now the publication of the Pentateuch of “Labor on Nemathematics” has been completed.
