1. "Mashninband" "Iron XXI"A few sudden greetings from the past: Mashninband , the pioneers of the Russian hardcore, rewrote their whole album “iron”, originally released 22 years ago. To the sound of the new version, there may be some not particularly significant issues, but definitely the wrong part, it sounds better or not, is certainly better. Another thing is more interesting. Firstly, with what internal skill “Mashninband” already built his seemingly hard and simple hardcore sound-working with rhythms here is quite phenomenal. Secondly, how good is the content of the album-minus literally a couple of songs (wild “Mowgli” and “sniper”, which definitely had more sense in 1997 than in 2019)-falls on the present outside the window. The trunk plot of the album - people who are faced with their own helplessness and find only two exits in this clash: to become a victim or take a matter of planting their order into their own hands. These reports from the mental bottom Andrei Mashnin retold dry and evil, but at the same time with some tangible gloomy drama - in the final the album reaches such an intensity that, in fact, all being is canceled. It is good that there is a new reminder of how strong they were.
