“Today, TV has become a tool of influence, brainwashing and even electronic killing. Often, a person being shot against the wall would be less painful than the daily "shooting" through the media. I went through it and I can say that not everyone has the courage to go through this. Our seaside situation was covered by NTV and RTR, there was not a word about me on ORT, and the planned shooting with my participation on TV-6 was suddenly canceled. I never appreciated how different channels show me. The main thing for me is objectivity. When mistakes are pointed out to me, if it is fair and objective, I will even be grateful.
TV, on the one hand, should be the immune defense of society, and on the other hand, the doctor who not only correctly diagnoses, but also warns society in a timely manner about the danger of the disease. Today, the television box has become that garbage can, from which they pour water on one, then on the other, then on the television companies themselves on each other.
I try to watch TV every day. If you choose according to the purity of the channel, then I would single out, of course, NTV as the most interesting, competently and talentedly built, and the most objective. I prefer informational programs, as for a politician they are especially important to me. I like it on TV-6 "Meeting Place" with Arina Sharapova - a person is shown there simply, but at the same time intelligibly. I love Shenderovich's programs very much. This is the same dust that helps society get rid of its own, sorry, lice. I just can't stand Dorenko. Maybe there is some truth in it (there is no smoke without fire), but in the form in which it is presented, everything shown to me is not just unpleasant, but I am embarrassed, as if I am becoming an accomplice.
When I'm busy, I can't afford to watch entertainment programs like Guess the Melody. Firstly, they are already tired, and secondly, the same food is the same everywhere, and they are built somehow in a pioneering way, a serious person is not interested. There is nothing in entertainment programs that would make society kinder. I'm not talking about patriotism, which was too obsessed with in communist times, but the educational moment must be and be very subtle so that after watching the program the viewer remains impressed for a long time, like after watching a good old movie.
That surrogate that is played on TV today - horrors, murders, scuffles - willy-nilly is laid on the hard drive of a computer in the head of the young generation.
Television needs nationality in its truest sense. The viewer must see a lot of opinions in order to draw a conclusion himself, and not rely on any Dorenko. The task of a journalist is to create an informational aura in which the truth will emerge. And today's programs for the most part, like a sledgehammer, drive nails into the head, citing that this is for the sake of your own well-being.
