Journalist RIA Novosti sent to study with the military how to work in hot spots. Our Knights drove his feet, gave a slap and humiliated, as they knew how to, a couple of hours. The young man decided that such flours were not provided for by the editorship agreement. And he was absolutely right - any specialist in labor relations will confirm this to you. The description of this "learning" has become the subject of a lively polemic. The opinions of the public were divided: either the journalist Svyatoslav Pavlov is just a weakling, or he is a citizen with a sense of dignity.
The Bastion Courses program at the Black Sea Fleet facilities was agreed with the Moscow Union of Journalists. And Pavel Gusev, his leader, apparently, not really delving into details, sided with people in uniform.
According to the security forces who organized these courses in hot spots, humiliation at the training ground allow journalists to evaluate their capabilities and efforts. That is, the goal is to weed out those who are not ready. The case with the Bastion should be, in my opinion, the subject of the most serious discussion. The settlement of such situations strengthens corporate solidarity, increases the maturity of the journalistic community, which, as the case with Ivan Kolunov showed, still exists.
Throughout the world, the most authoritative media are completely organized independently (although this is not a rule at all) for their employees, training courses for work in hot spots, or choose such services on the market. But the main condition here is the right to choose, an adequate assessment of the content of courses and knowledge that employees will receive on them, a preliminary assessment of the content of lectures.
Only the editors themselves must decide who will go and how much he is ready psychologically and physically.
No one among the sane media, not burdened by the fear of a civil servant before the security forces, will allow the military to arrange a “worthy” selection mechanism from the Citybrower. This is not their dog business, if you call a spade a spade.
If the media leadership decides to send its employees to such courses, what goals does it set for them? Obviously, get knowledge and minimal skills regarding professional specifics. From the organizers of the courses they expect knowledge, not a test for patience.
And what knowledge gives the courses described by Pavlov? What gives a journalist Pinok, a slap? What are the scars from the screed? On what legal basis, with what insurance coating is a journalist sent to study if the scars from burns (as the living witness that went through the Bastion), received during the simulation of the capture of the hostages, is going on for a whole year?
As a person who has passed the war, I can say that no courses will show how a person will manifest himself in reality. And you can not stir up for people with excess drama. If the head of the Union of Writers of Russia Ivanov, who has given a lecture, will not, God forbid, will be captured by the terrorists, his experience in Zindan will not help him - each case is unique. He will just sit in the pit again, despite all his experience.
Today there is one hot point at which journalists from Russia fall under the control of the military or with their assistance - Syria. In no other country where wars and civil conflicts are going on, our Moscow region can neither interfere with them or help. The Russian media are absolutely independent of the security forces when working at home, if the regime of a counter -terrorism operation is not announced.
When organizing such courses, if they are really necessary, the Ministry of Defense and the FSB must also take into account that sergeants, “teaching” journalists, carry out a purely civil contract.
They are not in the army, and in addition, instructors can also have personal motives, humiliating people. After all, many just like it.

Well, customers in the person of journalistic organizations and the media should not attract sergeants, but colleagues who have the greatest experience of business trips to the war, and with their help to immediately reconsider the content of the entire Bastion course for redundancy. It is necessary to throw out all the ideologized materials that are not related to a specific situation. The behavior at various types of shelling, including sniper, and bombing, personal protective equipment, types of shelter and their choice in specific circumstances, general principles of behavior in captivity (they are non -wary and do not require a separate lecture), first medical care with a small exhaustive workshop - this is approximately the construction of such courses without any checks for heroism and “weakly”.
Nothing else is needed. For good, it is better to entrust the real profile of the popular science genre to make a training film and send it to the editorial office for free. At the same time, you can publish all materials on the websites of trade unions, print the most important things as a memo and distribute when leaving. It is worth paying for such a job, all the more so, everyone will be able to evaluate it without asking for permission.
