There is a sequel
Members of the crew of the Nord ship were fined. The captain was arrested until May 31 with the possibility of making a bail. The bail has already promised to introduce the ship's company company.

The Seiner "Nord", owned by the Kerch enterprise "Fisherman named after the First of May", was detained by Ukrainian border guards in the Sea of Azov on March 25 at about 14:00 Moscow time. The detention passed 50 miles from the Ukrainian coast, in neutral waters, which [according to an agreement on fishing issues of 09/14/1993] can be used to conduct fishing both Russian and Ukrainian courts.
Ukrainian border guards, having examined the crew of a fishing vessel, ordered the sector to lead to the port of Berdyansk. Fishermen were suspected of violating the legislation of Ukraine on “temporarily occupied territories”.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine on June 16, 2014 by order No. 255 closed the seaports of Crimea and banned their use. Violation of this prohibition by Ukrainian legislation is classified as a crime under Art. 332-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the procedure for entry and departure to the occupied territory of Ukraine in order to harm the interests of the country”.
The border guards found that Nord went out of fishing from the port of Kerch. The maximum sanction is 5 years in prison.
The criminal liability, however, is the risk of bearing only the captain of the fishing vessel Vladimir Gorbenko. In relation to the remaining nine crew members, protocols on an administrative offense were drawn up - under Part 2 of Art. 204 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine threatens to 15 days of arrest. The arrest was also imposed on the Nord ship itself.
The Ukrainian side also draws attention to the fact that during the detention of sailors, passports of citizens of the Russian Federation issued in the Crimea were presented. Ukraine does not recognize the actions of these passports, and considers those detained by its citizens.
Two days after the detention of the vessel, the media reported that its owner, the Kerch “Fisherman of the First of May”, turned to the Russian Foreign Ministry for help. “We ask you to help protect the security of Russian citizens and the property interests of the Russian company,” the letter said in the name of Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The Foreign Ministry responded. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian foreign policy department, compared the Ukrainian border guards with the Somali pirates, and called the “revenge on the Crimeans for the choice made in March 2014”.
On April 5, 12 days after the detention of the vessel, the situation was commented by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov: “The Russian side will continue to protect the interests of all subjects related to Russian jurisdiction,” he said.
The reaction of the security forces also followed. The Crimean Office of the FSB opened a criminal case against the Nord detaining Ukrainian border guards under Art. 211 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “The hijacking of a vessel of air or water transport” (up to 15 years in prison). In addition, a ship of the FSB border control was aimed at constant duty to the Azov Sea, with which every fishing vessel will be able to communicate in case of an attempt to detain Ukrainian border guards.
The day after the detention of Nord, it became known that the supplies of provisions and fuel on the ship were small: food remained for three days, water for six, fuel - by five. Later, the situation was aggravated: 5 tons of fish caught by the seiner began to bed.
At the same time, the sailors were not allowed to go ashore. The captain of the vessel Vladimir Gorbenko announced that he had happened to him and another of the sailors of hypertensive crises.
On April 4, Gorbenko himself was withdrawn from the vessel and sent to Kherson, where he was first placed in a temporary detention center, and then he was taken to the hospital. There, in Kherson, he will wait for the trial. The rest of the crew at the time of publication continue to remain on the ship. According to Anna Sheveleva, spokeswoman for the Fisherman named after May, the problem with the transportation of the crew and medicines, the problem with the transportation of the crew of food.
Despite the presence of a Ukrainian decree on the closure of Crimean ports, the harbor of the peninsula continues their work. Potential "Nords" - dozens. In January this year alone, Ukraine recorded 19 cases of entering cargo ships in the Crimean ports.
What is curious, far from all the courts working with the Crimea are Russian. There are ships of Moldova, Malta, Togo, Palau, Panama, Sudan, Turkey, Tanzania.
The Kerch transport prosecutor’s office is currently conducting an audit against the Moldavian dry truck “Berg”, which with 3 tons of bran and the grain moved to the Turkish port of the Bandirma, but received a hole and anchored off the coast of Feodosia.
In total, in 2017, the Ukrainian regime of “closed ports” violated 161 ship.
