Putin excluded Viktor Ivanov from the Council of People's Commissars

Vladimir Putin signed a decree on amending the Council of Security, excluding the ex-head of the FSK Viktor Ivanov from it. This is stated in the message on the official portal of legal information. The decree comes into force from the day of its signing - May 7.

Viktor Ivanov headed the FSKN until the beginning of April. On April 5, the president abolished the FSKN, as well as the Federal Migration Service, transferring their functions to the Ministry of the Interior. On the same day, Putin announced the creation of the National Guard.

A few days later, the sources of Kommersant said that Ivanov was considered as a candidate for deputy heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The position was released after Viktor Zolotov, who had previously occupied it by the Commander -in -Chief of the Internal Vorisk, headed the National Guard.

Later it became known that Ivanov and the ex-head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky will not oversee the units created on the basis of their departments in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The curator of the unit created on the basis of the FSKN was the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of the Police Mikhail Vanichkin. The work of the unit formed on the basis of the FMS was the first superior of the internal affairs, police colonel Alexander Gorova, General of Police.
