A meteorite crushed an Englishwoman's leg

Siobhan Cawthon, 14, from Yorkshire, claims a meteorite fell on her leg . Siobhan was standing near the house when some small and hot stone fell from above, hit her toes and bounced off. It was on a flat terrain, and the stone clearly had nowhere to come from, except from the sky. The girl picked up the stone and decided to independently determine its origin. After looking at photos of meteorites on the Internet and comparing them with her stone, Siobhan came to the conclusion that a meteorite fell on her.

The stone that fell on the girl is currently under investigation at the University of Durham.
