One and a half weeks ago (see “New Gazeta”, No. 138 dated December 8, 2010 ), we presented a new campaign “Chistyy.ru”, in which we announced the first joint investigation into the “new” and its readers.
The subject of surveys is as follows: “Does the project“ Run after me ”, led by Maria Soboleva, budget funding through the Federal Youth Affairs Agency, led by her husband Vasily Yakemenko?”
We summarize the intermediate results.
Recall: we put forward a working hypothesis, and you help us check it. Hypothesis: In November of this year, Vasily Yakemenko presented Prime Minister Vladimir Putin a new project of Rosmolodezh “Run after me”. The goal at first glance is noble: to instill a love of sports for the younger generation and teach the basics of a healthy lifestyle. And in the future - to reform physical education lessons in universities and schools.
The face of the project was and remains the wife of Yakemenko Maria Soboleva. She was also called the creator or consultant to the program “Run after me” on the official website of the project.
"New" is not against the employment of husbands wives. "New" - against violation of the law. And the law limits such actions. If the project receives budget money, and the wife of the head of the department, which adopted this project, is its leader and creator, then there is a conflict of interest. Which violates the provisions of the Federal Law "On Combating Corruption".
We conducted a preliminary investigation, which, unfortunately, gave us almost nothing, and sent out official requests. You, dear readers, sent more than a hundred of your messages to Rosmolodzh. And here are the results.
Vasily Yakemenko finally published information about his income and income of his family. It turned out: the head of Rosmolodezh lives in comparison with his colleagues is not rich. In 2009, he earned a little more than 1 million rubles, the property owed 6 hundred parts of land and Toyota Landcruser 100. The sons are a little better: two sites of 12 acres, three apartments, a residential building and Audi Q5. The wife of Mr. Yakemenko in this family is the poorest - neither property nor income.
The appearance of the official website of the project “Run after me” has changed significantly. On the start page, the screenshot of which we published as an illustration for the previously released article, changed the photo. The name of Maria Soboleva disappeared from all pages where it was previously mentioned, now it can only be found in the “Contacts” section - it is called the “expert leader” of the project. Her blog and page, which was called Masha, was removed too.
“New” has not yet received a single answer to the sentences sent - we wrote to the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, which oversees their Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy, and the Prosecutor General. The deadlines established by law were issued on December 15.
On December 16, they called us from the Ministry of Sports and explained: the execution of our request is supervised by deputy minister Oleg Rozhnov, who imposed his resolution: “Prepare the answer together with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.” A copy of the request was handed over to the head of the press service of Rosmolodezh, Christina Potentchik. They promised to present the answer at the beginning of this week. We are waiting.
As follows from the previous answer, Rosmolodezh has not acquired its own press service and still shares it with the movement “ours”, the “speaking head” of which is the same dancer.
So far, the joint efforts of the readers of the “New” and its journalists were enough to force V. Yakmenko to publish information about income. A lot. But not enough.
We never received an official answer to the main questions: how is the “Run after me” program and is there a conflict of interest in Mr. Yakemenko’s actions?
Dear readers! It’s not too late to inform Vasily Yakemenko about the possible conflict of his interests with the interests of his wife: join our joint investigation!
