Orthodox Christians on the march

The association was formed in February 2006, it included mainly “radical patriots” like the Union of Orthodox Citizens. Now they are calling for the creation of a fundamentally new information space that opposes “oligarchic media holdings that have unleashed a real information and psychological war against the Russian people.” From defensive tactics, their statement says, it is necessary to move on to offensive actions. It’s just not clear where the Russian people are, which need to be protected, if everyone we see around turns out not to be the Russian people.
