Save a citizen

In Moscow, on August 15 at 18.00, a meeting “Save Citizen Mokhnatkin” will be held on Triumfalnaya Square near the monument to Mayakovsky.

Let us recall that Sergei Mokhnatkin received 2.5 years in prison for entering Triumfalnaya Square on December 31, 2009 during the dispersal of a rally in defense of Article 31 of the Russian Constitution and was detained when he reprimanded a policeman who was rude to an elderly woman.

On August 16, the Moscow City Court is scheduled to consider a cassation appeal against the verdict.

The meeting will include collecting signatures in support of Sergei Mokhnatkin.
