The more Russia becomes like the Soviet Union, the more often the calls are heard to swear it in fidelity. A year ago, the Youth Board under the governor of St. Petersburg proposed to oblige young St. Petersburgs to make an oath when receiving a passport. Then the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Education, Sports and Youth Affairs, a member of the YP faction Robert Schlegel proposed to spread this initiative throughout the country. “I think that you need to swear or swear once in your life and your country,” he said.
Then the idea of development did not receive, but a year later, after the triumphant capture of Crimea and in the wake of growing patriotic moods, the idea surfaced in Ulyanovsk - in the best traditions of the town oc noise of federal trends. “We believe that, following the example of Soviet pioneers, it would be necessary to create a solemn promise or an oath of loyalty to the Motherland for our young fellow countrymen ... when receiving the first passport,” said Ulyanovsk Governor Sergey Morozov.
And now the Public Chamber of the Ulyanovsk Region approved the text of the oath when receiving a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. For voting, two options for the oath were proposed on the ward website. The first is similar to a military oath and offers 14-year-old teenagers to defend the honor and freedom of the Fatherland "despite possible dangers, deprivation and hardness." The second text is more vegetarian, it even has the idea of respect for the rights and freedoms of compatriots and the preservation of the country's nature. Only 318 people took part in the vote, the second option won, and on May 9, a dozen young men and girls, as well as a certain family of immigrants from Crimea (!) Logging “honestly to fulfill their duty to the Motherland”, no matter what it means. Now the oath on the passport is a resolved case, and in the shortest possible time, although it was necessary to discuss not the text and the ritual, but the idea itself: whether such an oath was needed.
Passport to the screw
An internal passport with a residence permit is a rudiment of the Soviet past. The totalitarian state needed to know whether every screw of the system is on the spot where he is and what he was doing. In the USSR, moreover, a passport (more precisely, its absence) served as a way of enslaving peasants, attaching them to collective farms-until the beginning of the 60s, when the collective farmers began to issue passports. And in today's Russia, the passport is sometimes even more important than the personality that he certifies. Example: Once Sberbank refused to give me money from my account the day after the validity of a civil passport has expired, although before that I was about thirty years as a client of this bank and presented this very document many times. The current passport was not taken into account. Another evidence is fraudulent bank loans that issue and receive according to stolen passports or their photocopies without the participation of a citizen himself. Nonresident registration and lack of registration will complicate the device to work, be you at least a super -voluntary specialist. In the West, people somehow manage to live without an internal passport, and even more so without registration. Cooked by a social insurance number or a driver’s license card. At the same time, taxes are paid, conclude real estate purchase and sale transactions ... And they receive a passport only for traveling abroad.
Yes, in the same US there is an oath when gaining citizenship: it is pronounced by immigrants who have undergone naturalization. This oath symbolizes the rejection of loyalty to a foreign state or sovereignty, willingness to observe US laws and serve in its army. The oath marks the completion of the naturalization period; It means that a person has learned the language of the country of stay, has a job, but has no conflict with the law and generally considers his new country attractive to life. Adults give a similar oath when accepting the citizenship of Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other countries. Citizens of these countries, which are such by birth, do not give an oath. Ulyanovsk officials offer to do this.
In general, any oath is a pagan ritual, a kind of idolatry, which in the country of traditional Orthodoxy should be avoided. It is enough to believe the true believer, and do not swear in faith. The oath seems to question the fortress of faith or belief, demanding ritually confirm them. Many Orthodox people have a dual position here: asserting that “all power is from God”, they suspiciously relate to such its manifestation as an individual tax number - the TIN, in which they see the machinations of the devil. Some of them find the “number of beasts” even in the passport.
"And I tell you: do not swear at all ..."
These are words from the Nagorno -High Projection, it is not forbidden to remember the officials and ideologists of Eurasianism, who today are trying to create an Orthodox version of the Soviet Union. The oath is an ancient ritual. The pagans swore the name of their many gods, as well as kings and pharaohs. According to biblical sources, Moses introduced the rules and restrictions for Jews related to the use of oaths. He said that already spoken oaths should be executed, and forbade the use of a false oath with reference to God as a witness of innocence. The Pharisees found a loophole and advised the Jews instead of the name of God to swear by the sky, earth, Jerusalem, their head, etc. To which Christ, as the evangelist Matthew tells, said: “ And I tell you: do not swear at all: not heaven, because it is the throne of God; not the earth, because it is footsteps; nor Jerusalem, because he is the city of the great king; Do not swear with your head, because you can’t make a single hair white or black. But let your word be: yes, yes; no no; And what is beyond that, then from the evil one. ” For a believer (if we consider the Soviet, Komsomol and party officials of the Putin’s draft that were crossed into Orthodoxy), this should mean the following : “Whatever the person swore, in fact he swears that he does not belong to him, but to God, because a person does not have anything his own, not given by God.” But this brief formula - “ Yes, yes; no no; And what, from this, is from the evil one ”-could become the only instruction for any official, because with these words Jesus condemned idle talk, speaking in a real, irresponsible PR, unsubscription, obviously impossible promises and the like.
Honest pioneer
Of all the oaths, I would be ready to recognize the relative benefit of only four: a military oath, a mutual “yes” of the spouses entering into marriage, the oath of Hippocrates for newly -made doctors and the oath of the president of the country during the inauguration, when he solemnly enjoys the Constitution. At the same time, the oath in itself does not guarantee the resistance of beliefs and the performance of what they swear. In particular, the number of divorces we had the number of marriages. If you open the Constitution of the Russian Federation and start reading it, a regrettable fact is quickly found: most of its articles are violated, despite the oath of the guarantor. And the oath of Ulyanovsk officials do not take the bribes that they give upon admission to the service - greatly reduced corruption? How many times have they swore to repair the roads qualitatively? But the roads are worse every year, despite the fact that more and more money is spent on them.
A reference to the Soviet pioneers and the Soviet type of patriotism in the words of the governor is non -proper. A variety of oaths loved in the militarized USSR. They ideologically reinforced the mobilization economy and the paternalist consciousness. But the value of these spells could not withstand the audit, not that time - did not survive one historical shake. The pioneer oath “Love your homeland”, “Live, study and fight, as the great Lenin bequeathed, as the Communist Party teaches” neither the USSR nor the CPSU has renewed life for a day. Former secretaries of the Komsomol became oligarchs, party bosses became bankers. With the advent of the first McDonald's in Moscow, the people nipatriotically lined up in the watch queues for the “them” by Bigmak. Therefore, the appeal to Soviet experience does not convince. But this is not even the main thing.
Respect a person
The fact is that the Russian state himself has no respect for either a citizen, and even more so for his passport. To make sure of this, it is enough to start the replacement of the passport when reaching 20 or 45 years. Militable procedure. A heap of documents and photocopies require you. I remember, I was forced to once again go to the passport office at the same place of residence for a certificate that on February 6, 1992 (the date of the entry of the new law “On Citizenship”) I was registered in the territory of the Russian Federation. Although the passportist was enough to pick up the phone and call. Or not to do this at all: after all, I have lived with the actual passport of the Russian Federation for so many years and just passed it. It would seem: he gave the old passport, put a photo - get a new document. It turns out that the doubts that I am a citizen of Russia begin at the moment that I transfer the FMS the previous passport. The homeland in the person of her officials traditionally and fatally does not trust its citizens. By the way, if two citizens of Russia and on its territory were born a child, this does not mean at all that he is automatically a citizen of the Russian Federation - to prove this, parents recently had to undergo a painful bureaucratic procedure associated with the same “problem 02/06/1992”.
And now young citizens are offered to swear in the fidelity of the incredulous homeland upon receipt of a red book, which only certifies citizenship and which they will have to change in six years. And what to do to a young man who, according to religious or other beliefs, does not want to swear? This will be recorded in outcasts and, what good, they will begin to poison. In addition, an obligatory oath of loyalty to something can be considered as a violation of Art. 29 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which guarantees everyone freedom of thought and word. According to this article, "no one can be forced to express their opinions and beliefs or abandon them." And patriotism has nothing to do with it.
The crack of the world
The Ulyanovsk regional authorities are proud of the interethnic and interfaith world, but constantly introduces into society, if not a split, then cracks: it is going to build a cathedral mosque back to the Orthodox temple, then a foreign hotel in the place of the green square, then prohibits the text of Dina Rubina on the Total Dictation, to read books from the Children's Project of Lyudmila Ulitskaya ”(regional Ministry of Education installed for all books from the series of Ulitskaya Age Census +18). Now here is an oath. The oath cements ideology, but makes it fragile at the same time. In order for cement to become concrete, the reinforcement of conscious belief is needed. And this is not.
“Citizenship is not only legal, but also sacred category. The Fatherland is given to man, if you want, by God, ”said Sergey Morozov. But what about, for example, the Latarsky family from West Ukrainian Rivne? If their Ukrainian Fatherland was given to them by God, then why in March this family was accepted in Ulyanovsk with such a pomp and instantly gave an apartment? (By the way, others have not been reported to the region from Ukraine since then.) It seems that the governor’s speaker hasn’t thought of something here, led to the beautiful word “sacred”, let into the text of patriotism, and an important theme turned out to be torn from a wider and more important context. If your Fatherland treats you in a day, if it is life threatening in it, then a person has several options: 1) to remain and die in the god of this Fatherland, to which you consider yourself sentenced; 2) change power in this country and equip it; 3) Find another country for a more comfortable residence, preserving the fatherland in the shower. What to choose, everyone decides for himself.
It is under the choir that the oath for loyalty to the homeland today the most successful cuts and rollbacks take place. It is under the rumble of oaths of loyalty to the Fatherland of the Pharisees that they destroy the Malya and large and its natural beauties. Therefore, no oaths. Because it will be an oath not on loyalty to the homeland, but on loyalty to the bureaucratic system that has entangled it.
