The head of the Central Election Commission Vladimir Churov invited the presidential candidate, the leader of the Russian People's Democratic Union Mikhail Kasyanov in the CEC at 23.30 on Wednesday. Kasyanov is invited to the CEC to obtain a protocol on the results of the second check of signature sheets. At the same time, the authorized person Kasyanov, who is in the CEC, did not provide a protocol of the results of the second audit, saying that "he is not ready."

The headquarters of Kasyanov said that such a statement of the issue is a "complete mockery of common sense." Kasyanov’s proxy tomorrow, when the working day comes, will arrive in the CEC to get a protocol of the results of the second check. The headquarters hope that by the morning of tomorrow the second check protocol will be ready.

Earlier on Wednesday, Churov said that the share of false signatures in support of the presidential candidate, the leader of the Russian People's Democratic Union Mikhail Kasyanov, was reduced to 13 percent. According to him, almost 567 thousand signatures were checked at four in the afternoon. Of these, 77 thousand 518 were recognized unreliable.

In the CEC, an additional sample of signatures submitted for Kasyanov is currently being completed. In the first sample of 400 thousand signatures, as previously said by the secretary of the commission Nikolai Konkin, 15 percent of the marriage were discovered.

Earlier, Kasyanov’s headquarters said that NTV and a number of other media intentionally lie to their audience, saying that the CEC recognized more than 60 thousand signatures fed in support of Kasyanov’s candidacy.

From the resolution of the Central Election Commission, it follows that only 170 signatures were recognized as performed by other persons, the statement published on the Kasyanov.ru website said. The rest are rejected due to violations of the rules for the design of signature sheets.

"The presentation of this information indicates that these media deliberately mislead the public," the document says.

Kasyanov is sure that the Central Election Commission will register him as a presidential candidate. He stated this on Monday at a press conference in Moscow.

Kasyanov is sure that the decision on registration or refusal to register is not made by the CEC, but personally Vladimir Putin. "The Central Election Commission only announces the decision adopted by the president," Kasyanov believes.

Meanwhile, Mikhail Kasyanov intends to appeal to the court with the actions of the Central Election Commission, VGTRK and Channel One in connection with gross violations of the article of the Federal Law "On the Elections of the President of the Russian Federation" related to the non -publication of the amount of the airtime.

On January 8, Kasyanov sent a letter to the CEC with a request to take measures to ensure the publication of the VGTRK and the “first channel” of information about the amount of payment of airtime in accordance with the requirement of the law.
