After the descent on the planet, the Mars -Road will have to look for traces of life, including the oldest remnants of microorganisms. The new direction of science arising during our life is called exomicropaleontology. -It will not be an exaggeration if we call the Mars-2020 mission with the Persevrance Mars-Trade the most powerful and equipped scientific laboratory for the study of planets in the history of the Earth. The previous self -propelled vehicle with the remarkable title “Curiosity” has been working since August 2012 to this day and allowed American scientists and engineers to collect vast experience with an autonomous rover and management. All this experience forms the basis for creating a new, much more powerful and sophisticated Persevrance.
This is not just a separate expedition, but also the beginning of a large path: the Marshod should collect samples of Martian soil, which will take and deliver the next expedition to Earth. Thus, a practical step is taken to fly to Mars with a return to the Earth. In addition, on board he carries an electric drone-vector recharge from the onboard network.
He will fly in an atmosphere with a density of only 1% of the earth. At first, I could not even believe in such an opportunity.
Shooting will be possible on the route of the marshound from a bird's eye view. This is science fiction.
According to the established rules, all the scientific results of research have been studying for six months by scientists of the country that equipped the interplanetary expedition, then they completely become the property of world science. So it was with our interplanetary stations in the past. But the design of the spacecraft and the technology of its creation in the USSR were classified at the level of military developments.
And in modern Russia, the secrecy of designs and technologies of peaceful research devices is also beyond any need. At first, Chinese scientific devices (but not the results of their research) were classified more strictly than in the USSR. But in recent years, they are increasingly opening up to the international expert community.
As for the Mars-2020 and Persevrance mission, from the very beginning we could observe the most important details of the design in the open, completely public history of their creation.
Humanity did nothing more perfect for the study of planets of the solar system.
Of course, successful launch does not mean the final success of the entire expedition. The access to the orbit of Mars, the descent of the Marshound, the testing of all systems is already in the real environment of an alien planet, and not in laboratories - complex and not always predictable stages through which you will have to go through. We will wait for the results with impatience.
