In connection with the publication of the material “Why officials do not fly like people” in No. 34 of Novaya Gazeta, the press service of VTB Bank officially states that neither on February 28, 2011, nor during March, VTB Bank received a request from Novaya Gazeta about the topic of the use of charter flights and/or private aviation by Andrey Kostin, President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, for traveling on business trips. The request was only received on 1 April 2011 via e-mail.
